BCR VOL. 100

COMPETITION RULES

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR RUN
The BCR100 Competition is based on the official HITMAN World of Assassination ruleset on SRC , with additional BCR100-specific competition and submission requirements.
01

GAME VERSION & LEGITIMACY

Submissions must be played on HITMAN World of Assassination Version 3.280.0 (“The Herbalist”) or any later version.

Runs played on pirated copies of the game are not permitted and will be rejected.

02

GAME MODIFICATION POLICY

Peacock is allowed, but Peacock plugins and other gameplay-affecting mods are not permitted. Downpatching the game is not allowed.

Crosshair overlays are permitted as long as they do not alter the in-game crosshair itself. Third-party FPS capping software may be used, but FPS must not be changed mid-run through external software.

Utilities accessed through ZHM, such as Freecam or EntityPathTracer, may be installed but must not be activated during a run. OnlineTools through ZHM may be used to connect to Peacock.

Cheat tools such as WeMod, macros that bind multiple actions to a single input, Nvidia Profile Tweaker / Profile Inspector, external .ini modifications and extreme FOV manipulation through resolution stretching are not permitted.

Activating Ansel or Freecam during a run is also prohibited.

03

IN-GAME RULES & TECHNIQUES

NOT ALLOWED
TRANQ GLITCHES Tranq Glitches are explicitly prohibited. Any submission using a Tranq Glitch will be considered invalid.

Pausebuffering is allowed. However, it should not be used excessively to the point where a substantial part of the run consists primarily of repeated pausing.

If excessive pausebuffering makes the submission difficult or unpleasant to watch, the run may be rejected at moderator discretion.

04

SUBMISSION RULES

A submitted run should begin before the level starts or during the opening cutscene and must continue through to the Rating Screen.

TIMER HUD REQUIRED RATING SCREEN REQUIRED

The Timer HUD must be enabled and visible during the run. The Rating Screen must be shown clearly so that the final rating, Mission Time and Mission Score can be verified.

The Mini-map and SA HUD are optional, but encouraged.

All BCR100 Competition entries must be submitted through BCR.wtf . Each submission must include the Discord username used on the BCR Discord, Mission Time, Mission Score, Starting Location and a link to the recorded run.

Submissions made only through the BCR Discord are not eligible for the competition.

MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS

Players may submit improved runs during the competition. If multiple runs are submitted by the same player in the same category, only the latest submission will be validated.

This means that each player has one active submission per category.

05

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

THE RUN MUST BE CLEARLY WATCHABLE AND VERIFIABLE FROM START TO FINISH.

The video must remain publicly accessible and must not require a login to watch.

YOUTUBE PREFERRED
TWITCH
MEDAL.TV
GOOGLE DRIVE
BILIBILI

YouTube is the preferred platform. Twitch Clips or Highlights, MedalTV, Google Drive and Bilibili are also accepted. Twitch VOD timestamps are not accepted.

Google Drive submissions must be shared in a way that allows anyone with the link to view the video without signing in.

If the video is later deleted, made private, expires or otherwise becomes inaccessible, the submission may be rejected.

Runs must not be edited in a way that speeds up parts of the footage or splices different sections together. Video skips, significant visual or recording issues, missing sections, or missing or inaudible in-game audio may also result in rejection if the run can no longer be properly watched or verified.

Excessive alt-tabbing or similar interruptions that cause significant portions of the video or audio to disappear may be rejected at moderator discretion.

Switching between fullscreen and windowed fullscreen with Alt + Enter during the run is not permitted because of the visual disruption it can cause.

The Rating Screen must remain clearly visible and unedited.

06

MODERATION & COMPETITION INTEGRITY

BCR reserves the right to reject submissions or exclude participants from the competition where necessary.

Moderator discretion may be used where a submission cannot be reliably verified or where recording issues significantly affect its watchability.

USE OF SUBMITTED FOOTAGE

By submitting a run to the BCR100 Competition, the participant grants permission to use the submitted footage for BCR-related YouTube videos and competition coverage.

Ruleset

Game Version/Engine

Submissions have to be played on the most recent Hitman World of Assassination Version 3.280.0 (aka The Herbalist) or above.

Submissions proved to be played on a pirated copy of the game are not allowed and will be rejected.

Game Modification Policy

Peacock is allowed (Peacock Plugins/Mods are NOT allowed).

Downpatching the Game is NOT allowed.

Crosshair overlays that don't affect the in-game crosshair are allowed, but direct changes to the in-game crosshair are banned. Because it's necessary for moderators to be able to see that the in-game crosshair has remained unaltered, submissions where this is not possible may be rejected.

Third party FPS capping software may be used, but you cannot change your FPS mid-run with third party software. Changing your FPS mid-run with the in-game graphics options, such as Vsync or Super Sampling, is allowed.

Utility mods accessed through ZHM such as Freecam and EntityPathTracer may be installed, but cannot be activated during runs or that run will be rejected. Using OnlineTools through ZHM to connect to Peacock is allowed.

Banned/Not Allowed

All Mods (aside from those mentioned above).

Camera FOV scaling via resolution stretching past the boundaries set by the game and to the point where you can shoot through walls is not allowed.

Obviously any cheat tools like WeMod and macros that bind multiple actions to one button or key are not allowed.

Nvidia Profile Tweaker (Tweaking the games visuals beyond the extent of the in-game settings menu via third party tools such as nvidiaprofileinspector, or editing the game's .ini files will not be allowed).

As mentioned above, activating Ansel or ZHM freecam during a run is banned as well as using Ansel to skip dialogue.

In Game Rules

You are NOT ALLOWED to make use of Tranq-Glitches.

You are ALLOWED to make use of methods like Wallbangs, Coveraims, NPC clipping, Mudshots & Boosts.

Please avoid heavy use of Pausebuffering (pausing the game extensivly to save time inbetween shots or similar), to the point the Submission gets unwatchable. (may be rejected at moderator discretion)

Submission Rules

All submissions should start berfore the level/during the beginning cutscene and end with the rating screen.

All submissions must have Timer-Hud enabled & visible. Rating screen is necessary for all runs to verify rating, time and score. Mini-map & SA Hud is optional, but encouraged.

All submissions have to be submitted on the BCR.wtf Homepage and must include your Discord Username (used in the BCR Discord), the Mission Time (Minutes:Seconds), the Mission Score (so the time can be verifierd to milliseconds if necessery), used Starting Location and a link to your run.

Submissions in the BCR-Discord are not eligible for the BCR#100-Competition.

Video Requirements

Runs must be posted somewhere that is unrestricted (no sign-in required to watch) and permanent (no expiration date). Please use one of the following platforms:

  • YouTube (Preferred)
  • Twitch (Clip/Highlight)
  • MedalTV
  • Google Drive (Click Share -> Get Link -> Anyone on Internet can View)
  • Bilibili (Mostly for Chinese Users)

If a video for any reason becomes not viewable (expires, deleted, privated, etc), the run will be rejected.

Submissions may not be edited such that parts of the video are sped up or spliced together. Similarly, submissions with video skips/other visual anomalies including but not limited to frame drops, significant ghosting, excessively low bitrate,
or audio anomalies including but not limited to missing or inaudible in-game audio will be rejected.

All submissions must maintain a level of 'viewability', ensuring the majority of the screen is uncovered at all times, have viewable FPS range (>30) and rating screen is visible and unedited.

Excessive alt-tabbing such that significant portions of audio is missing, that video "cuts out", or that the game is tabbed out of completely may be rejected at moderator discretion.
Similarly switching between fullscreen and windowed fullscreen via "Alt + Enter" is not allowed as it often visually disrupts recordings.

If there are multiple submissions by the same person, only the latest submission will be validated (one run per player)
